Privacy notice

This notice explains how Advyl handles personal information when families, students and tutors use the website and tutoring service.

Information we collect

We may collect account details, parent and student information, lesson bookings, learning requirements, tutor applications and support communications that are needed to provide and manage tutoring services.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Advyl stores payment and customer identifiers needed to manage bookings and recurring lesson payments, but does not store raw card numbers.

How information is used

Information is used to arrange lessons, provide tutoring support, manage accounts and bookings, communicate about services, process payments and operate the tutoring platform.

Anonymous visitor activity

We count anonymous visits to public pages to understand website activity. A temporary random identifier exists only in the open page; we do not store analytics cookies, IP addresses, names, full browser identifiers or query strings. Private account pages are excluded. Activity records are kept for 30 days and are visible only to the administrator. Browsers requesting Do Not Track are excluded. Counts are estimates, not identification of individual people.

Service providers

Advyl uses service providers such as Supabase for account and database services, Stripe for payments, Netlify for hosting and Resend or configured email providers for transactional messages.

Your choices and rights

You can contact Advyl about access, correction or other requests relating to personal information. Requests will be handled in line with applicable data-protection requirements.
